Message from Congress Co President AMP

Welcome to the IPA 2025 World Pediatric Congress, which on this occasion will be held jointly with Mexico, having the honor of being the host country for the second time, since in 2004 the venue was Cancún, Quintana Roo.

Organized pediatrics in Mexico with a great academic, educational and healthcare tradition began officially on January 18, 1930 as the Mexican Society of Childcare and later as the Mexican Society of Pediatrics, which gave rise to the two large groups that currently encompass all organized pediatrics in our country, which are: the Mexican Association of Pediatrics (AMP) and the National Confederation of Pediatrics (CONAPEME), with around twenty thousand certified pediatricians.

We will have a academic program of vanguard, according to the healthcare needs of the child population worldwide, covering fundamental concepts of pediatrics such as childcare, breastfeeding, primary care as well as topics of all pediatric subspecialties, emerging diseases, epidemiology, simulation, artificial intelligence, among others, where we will have as professors opinion leaders from all continents led by IPA in coordination with national pediatric groups.

Under the historical cultural framework, Mexico City founded on the great Mexico Tenochtitlan, represents a cosmopolitan city, with air connectivity with the entire world, with hotels available to everyone. Mexico City characterized by its hospitality, where you can enjoy our varied cuisine, cultural traditions and cordiality. At a cultural level we have 136 museums, highlighting the National Museum of Anthropology, the Templo Mayor Museum, the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Frida Kahlo Museum, among others, along with surrounding Archaeological Zones such as Teotihuacan, the largest pre-Columbian city.

Previously will make the World Congress of Pediatrics an unforgettable event, where we can share knowledge, new friendships with colleagues from around the world, under a framework of respect, equity and camaraderie; Pediatrics knows no borders and we will all meet at an academic event where our main purpose is to have the tools to care for each of our children, regardless of race, religion or country; managing to have a healthy child who reintegrates into society, under the well-being of the family at all times. We appreciate the honor granted by the IPA Board of Directors, to be the host country of world pediatrics on this occasion.
