Process Visitor Inmigration overview

This includes most countries in Europe, the Americas, and some in the Asia-Pacific region.

BUSINESS TRAVELERS According to Mexican immigration law, business and tourist travelers fall under an immigration status called "visitor.” Visitors are allowed to stay in Mexico up to 180 days.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE VISITORS ALLOWED TO PERFORM? Visitors are allowed to perform any type of activity as long as it is not remunerated, and their stay does not exceed 180 days. Attendance to this type of congresses is contemplated within the visitor status.

NACIONALITIES

Both restricted and non-restricted visitors must have the following documents:

* It is important to comply with these requirements, as an immigration officer may conduct a brief interview upon arrival at the airport to verify the purpose of the trip.
